St Leonards is a primary school of approximately 270 students on the fringes of Launceston. The school’s intake area includes the village of St Leonards and also the rural communities of Nunamara, Patersonia, Myrtle Park, Blessington and White Hills. St Leonards has a proud tradition of high quality teaching and a positive sense of community.

Staff are very committed and innovative and the school promotes a culture of shared responsibility for all our students. St Leonards Primary School has a strong Early Years program for students from birth-4 years.
