At Ulverstone Primary School we pride ourselves on being student centred. We have high expectations for our staff and students. At UPS our aim is to provide a safe and supportive learning environment, where all students are able to “Reach for the Stars” and achieve their best.
We encourage our families to work in partnership with us to provide an environment where we work together to inspire and engage all learners to learn more, every day. We believe that relationships matter, and our staff strive to develop productive relationships with our students. We set high expectations for students to take pride in wearing their school uniform and to care for our school environment.
At Ulverstone Primary School we offer the Australian Curriculum Prep to Year 6, and Early Years Framework Birth to Year 2 delivered through a range of classroom, specialist programs and authentic learning environments, such as our Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden. Our Launching into Learning Program welcomes families with children birth-4 to work with us in partnership to develop confident, involved learners and effective communicators. We offer students the opportunity to participate in specialist lessons such as Music, Science and Physical Education.
We provide an innovative and challenging learning environment where students are well equipped to flourish and are well equipped to meet future academic and life challenges.
At Ulverstone Primary School our goal is to ensure that high quality teaching and learning is occurring in every classroom, and we are always striving towards our vision – “Together Today for Tomorrow”.
