Winnaleah District High School is situated in the rolling hills and farmland of north east Tasmania. Ten minutes away is Derby, home to world class mountain biking trails.

Education programs are provided for students from Birth to Year 10. A Year 11/12 program is also offered in partnership with Scottsdale High School. In addition to learning key subjects, all students receive specialist lessons including Food and Fibre Production and the Arts. Secondary students also receive optional subjects in a range of subject areas including Design, Digital Technology, the Arts and Science.

Our school is well provisioned with Information and Communication Technology (ICT) resources, allowing all Year 2 to Year 10 students to have access to a wireless device for learning at school. We are committed to learning and the wellbeing of our students. Our main priorities are Curriculum and Student Support.
